River Finlay, MA, MPH
Over the past two decades, River has worked throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia providing expertise in program design and management, technical assistance, training and behavior change communications. River’s work has primarily focused on maternal-child health, HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health with an emphasis on young people.
River’s career has been inspired by the power of visual storytelling to change behavior and generate support for pressing global issues. She has expertise in strategic communications and multi-media with a focus on documentary filmmaking and has provided strategic advice to a range of organizations on how to leverage media to reach their programmatic and advocacy goals.
River holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College, a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University and a Masters of Arts in Film and Video from American University.
